These gardens really are the jewel in the crown for the National Trust in North Wales.
They are near Llandudno and are a series of quite spectacular gardens.
Two things to warn you about: they are very popular so don’t expect the place to yourself, and there are quite a few sharp slopes. So, getting around is not just an easy stroll.
Even so, Bodnant really is a special place and well worth a visit.
There’s so much to look at, take in and enjoy… these really are gardens for all seasons.
We visited in spring to see the magnolia trees in bloom and they did not disappoint. An inspiring mass of colour and beauty.
They are out now and looking spectacular. They don’t last for long so visit while you can.
