All over the UK there are beautiful Coronation Meadows you can visit to contemplate the natural beauty of a wild flower meadow.

We visited one over the Coronation weekend to celebrate the real majesty of this time of year, which is, of course the abundance and genorisity of nature herself.

We were not disappointed, we found a stunning display of cowslips, green winged orchids and ladysmock. A beautiful place to immerse yourself in the wonder of nature.

Coronation meadows have been created to enhance, protect, preserve and restore our threatened meadows.

There are sites you can visit in every county.

The project began back in 2012 to mark the 60th anniversary of Queen Elizabeth’s coronation and a further 100 are planned at historic sites to mark this months coronation of King Charles.
